Amalfi Sfusato Lemon
Italy, Campania

 
Amalfi Lemons date back to ancient Roman times, and images of lemon trees very similar to the Sfusato variety appear in the ruins of the Casa del Frutteto in Pompei. The Amalfi Sfusato Lemon has an elongated shape and a very pale yellow skin. With juicy, acidic pulp, few seeds and intense aroma, this lemon is perfect for the preparation of traditional limoncello.
