A small to medium sized native breed that is hornless with tiny ears, the Alpago Lamb has a ram-like profile with unusual dark spots on its head. Its fleece is dense, with fine, wavy wool. These lambs are raised in a semi-natural state and their feed is supplemented with local hay and cereal meal. The meat of the Alpago Lamb is extremely tender with just the right balance between fat and lean and is flavored with aromatic herbs.
