Slow Food Chefs' Alliance in Netherlands


The Netherlands was the first European country to join the international network of Slow Food chefs. The Alliance in the Netherlands was launched in Amsterdam in December 2012, on the occasion of Terra Madre Day. The Dutch chefs, along with hundreds from Italy and Morocco, support small producers, the custodians of biodiversity, everyday by using products from Presidia projects and the Ark of Taste, as well as local fruits, vegetables and cheeses, in their kitchens.
